Erinyes Review
🕑 Added 2024-09-15 12:38:12 +0000 UTCI have now also created my first protomech. It was a lot of fun and I will be adding more to my to-do list in the future. On the same basis I could also create a Siren and my planned Sprite as well as many other Protos. What is your opinion on my interpretation of the Eninyes?
My wife said that I deviated too much from the original and that my design now looks more like a demon than a Greek mythical creature. Do you see it the same way? Should I perhaps publish an alternative design that doesn't have bovine legs?

In dungeons and dragons erinyes are a type of devil - I like the design. If you gave it clawed feet instead of hooves it would have really good Disney gargoyle vibes!

Ditto to what Bolththrower said! I saw this and, to me, not only does it look like the proto, it looks better. Your designs improve all of the units you sculpt in unique and exciting ways. This is one I will definitely be happy to print and paint!

I think its the best representation of this proto out there atm. Your wife complimented your work more than I think she knew she did. Erinyes also known as the Eumenides, are chthonic goddesses of vengeance in ancient Greek religion and mythology. They took vengeance on men who had sword false oaths.
