How about a big ol update?

G - This is my library for the episodes, in the previous two rage videos, I used clips from some episodes and mostly YouTube clips. That limited my options for visuals and they were of lower resolution in general. But not this time!
I have everything in 1080p sources.
F - It's been a nightmare to create this one. Over the 2+ months, I re-watched the show, wrote and re-drafted the 27K Essay a whole bunch of times, recorded large portions of the script at a time, to then begin editing asap alongside the other processes.
F2 - It's important that the clips are high quality but to simultaneously avoid repetition, despite how important visual cues can be (What the fuck!)
I've been spending a long time collecting plenty of fresh edits for this one, resulting in much more spice than the previous two.
E - So this would be one example of something getting cooked up to support an argument in snarky way. Good ol Jon Snow, lacking any more than 3 dialogue options.
I have plenty of other memes planned for this one folks, humour is a natural part of the video essay meal I suppose.
D - This represents the part of my script that I have yet to record, though it looks smaller there, than it is. I found that doing it in portions is very useful because I can note any and all mistakes, be it flubs or missing lines I find during visual editing and fix them in future batches.
C - This is raw audio, I flub a lot of lines and my accent can blend words together, so I try to make sure I have strong takes before moving forward.
I usually do around 2-3 "good" takes to reduce the amount of re-recordings I might need, it leads to a lot of raw audio.
B - This is processed audio, all the takes are what I would call strong and any cut-a-ways to references are in line. The timeline is then prepped for the majority visual editing, which can often be the longest part of the editing process.
A - This is the completed part of the timeline, currently just over 35 minutes. Every part of it is likely good to be released but it hasn't yet been proof watched by myself or any friends. There will likely be a few more notes to make for changes...
I often change visuals towards the end of the project to add consistency to references.
I add some jokes, or get rid of flash frames. Pacing is often an issue, just a half second on delivery can make or break certain jokes and so a multitude of opinions can be very helpful.
Which leads me to saying, "it is on the way".
This one has taken so long because it was as large a project as the TFA series (In concept), built from the ground up, you have to consider a very wide scale of content to get the definitive references down.
The previous two videos were far more rushed and I'm looking forward to you folks seeing how that translates into a more meaty video.
So, I am over half way through the project as a whole and once I get everything in the timeline and script to the position of (A) it will only need proof watching before release. Which leads me to....estimated time of delivery.....

I need another month. I hope I can release it around the same time we hit the EFAP Anniversary. (August 22nd)
That would be a nice celebration to pop it out for.
I am working on this project every day and I want it done too, but it has to be done right.

This is fun stuff, and even though I waited for 2 months, I really liked your last GOT video. I'm happy to wait for the next video. I'll probably just go rewatch everything you've made again. It's great to listen to while doing school work, since what I was doing at the time was fairly mindless work. In regards to your editing, if you ever have problems with workflow lag when scrubbing in AE or Premiere, and you haven't done so already, try converting your preview videos using AVID's DNxHD codec (Avid's info page: https://www.avid.com/products/avid-high-resolution-workflows _-_ The free download for the codec I still use: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/download/en423319). You'll keep your previews HD but they'll stream way faster, giving you an essentially visually lossless preview. And again, last I checked, it's free. Maybe up-and-coming creators may want to look into it too. Do some research of course by searching up DNxHD, but it has saved my ass with during my last minute movie edits.

I’m thrilled and excited, thank you for the update. I would like an audience poll of how many people actually watch (visually) your content. I’m someone who exclusively listens to what you make, and as such the visuals don’t make any difference. I’d be curious to see if I am an outlier in this regard
