Seems like a golf cart would crumple it in a crash but otherwise, cool car.
We’ve got a few years to go until they can be imported sadly

Maybe eventually. He didn't do video things with it, but I think his friend did

Great car, great review! Would you maybe have access to a Smart Roadster in the US? It‘s somewhat similar to the AZ-1 in style and not much bigger, and it‘s the perfect continuation of the Smart Car idea, but unfortunately it was short lived… https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_Roadster The terrible automated gearshift aside it was great. I‘m 191cm tall and I fit into one… electrifying one of those would be an absolute dream, if there only was space for the batteries…

Is Jacob's Reliant Robin video somewhere to be found?

One clarification, the horsepower limit isn't a legal restriction like the other requirements. It was a gentleman's agreement between the manufacturers like they did with their sports cars around the same time

Also, if you still have access to the car, I would love to see you go through the drive thru of a fast food restaurant and order, pay for and receive a meal.

You missed a very important thing in post. "I do fit in it... If I duck" And a quick "quack!" as the door closes.
Every Ford Festiva guy will be quick to tell you that their car has the same climate control panel as the AZ-1.

Height (of the car) is a surprisingly important factor

Just in case it wasn't obvious, being a Patreon and all, but I did enjoy the video, as usual. : )
Eric Greenberg
Just tell them it's so small that you misplaced it and haven't been able to find it since.
This reminded me of my very first car, which was a Peugeot 106. Gigantic in comparison to this, but still, being over 6' tall.. small European cars are not designed for tall people. Leg / foot cramps came as standard issue. I was happy to see the back of that thing when I was finally able to get a replacement.

Welp. I guess that means I can look forward to commenters asking me about "my Autozam" for at least the next three years
Steven Mello
Until the very end, especially when you said it was a donor car, I thought this is now your car.

I have sat in the back of one of the boxy kei cars, and boy was it spacious! I had my feet on the floor without my knees being in the air. And I am slightly taller than Robert.
