"Legitimately old" fooled me. I had never seen a Figaro before and really thought it was way older. Looks nice, are you going to electrify it? I think Robert has a spare Wheego drive unit ;-)
Technology Connections
It may seem odd but I've had an affinity for this car for a very long time. I discovered it when going down a Wikipedia rabbit hole probably when I was in high school, and I've always admired how it wasn't just "retro-inspired" but "we're gonna make this look legitimately old." In my head I thought these were from the late '90s, but when I saw Jalopnik covering bubble era cars and noticed the Figaro was included, I realized they're old enough to be imported now and... frightfully impulsively bought one on eBay.
