I've Been Distracted by Chickens
🕑 Added 2020-07-13 21:57:18 +0000 UTCHey there! I thought I'd give you all a little update about the chickens. Partly because chickens, but also because my next video will be a bit delayed because I'm building a chicken fence. See you soon!

Durango ideas! 1) How long will a tank of gas idle? 2) How little oil does it need before the engine melts? 3) How much weight can I put in the back before the axle collapses? 4) How far can I drive it once the axle collapses? 5) Can it tow this tree out of the ground? Can it tow a bigger tree out of the ground? 6) What happens if I wire up two batteries and bypass the voltage regulators and put 24 volts through the whole system? 7) How far can this thing go on flat tires? 8) how far can it go on no tires? 9) How many components can you remove from a Durango and have it run fine?
Sorry to hear about your chickens man. We just lost a few to racoons.

Chicken duty is important duty! BTW: I read somewhere that flaming weed is best done so that the plant doesn't burn all the way, just enough so that it can't recover from the burning. The idea generally was (I think), that a thoroughly burnt weed is good base for a new weed, and thus the problem is not resolved.

I like how casually you say it was "probably a bobcat" picking off the chickens. If I had wildcats in my yard I'd be setting up machine gun turrets rather than fencing

Awesome chicken update!
Sorry about the lost chickens
I am guessing since a house cat can jump on top of a refrigerator. A cougar or bobcat easily can hop your fence.

Aww, baby turkums!

Flame weeding should be the focus here. You should have done a video on just that. Think of the hits. Hehe

Rest in peace favorite chickum :'(
For a year there was a family of turkeys that would walk by the house, and then fly up to sit in the top of my neighbors huge trees. I was not aware they could fly that well.

Turkeys friendly? Then why did I have to pull one off the chickens in a petting zoo once? It was killing one of the chickens and tried to attack me when I stopped it. (well, it tried to intimidate me....). As soon as it realised it wasn't having this chicken...it started attacking another. The staff informed me that this wasn't the first time....and after we had a walk around the park....the matter was dealt with. Turkey sandwiches were on offer the next day.
