That makes sense. Double duty on the dust collection, bonus!

That's a fair concern. I'm going to put the dust collector hole right near the motor so the dust and warm air get sucked away from the motor. I won't be able to use the saw without a dust collector running, but I don't want to anyway

Love everything you do. I am just a little concerned about saw dust in the motor. Otherwise it looks awesome!
Ooh Adam Savage just tinkered with his table saw just the other day. Remember to square and zero the tilty bit (I know what I mean, I just don't have the jargon) Love being in your neighbourhood ;)
I really miss the daily videos. It's why I became a patreon. It was great waking up and having some good news during this crisis.

Just make sure you don't fill the motor with saw dust when you encapsulate it
I wish I still had my 91 Saab 900. The weather in MO has been amazing for projects.
