I got this idea from a nifty little accessory I saw on a couple '50s cars: it was a little prism or jeweled piece of clear plastic/glass that sat at the base of the windshield/dashboard, designed to capture and glow with the colour of the traffic light blocked by the low windshield.

I'm not sure if it's right, but that sound like a plausible explanation. The drivers seat seems to be pretty far back from the windscreen.

Sorry Rob - I have to guess: Can you see traffic lights from the driver's seat? I wonder if those are to help you see the colour of them without ducking your head ?

Something about those interior trays remind me of a lunch tray you'd see in a hospital cafeteria. Looking forward to more videos of cars from the Lane Motor Museum, that place is a treasure and I need to find an excuse to go back.

I love the looks. It just needs a battery and motor upgrade (and for it not to be built by the French).
