DMF: The Morning After The Call

Jimin startles and glances at Jihyun through the mirror, from where he’s currently busy slicking his hair with gel. He clears his throat. “Nope. Why?”
“Don’t lie…” Jihyun narrows his eyes.
Thing is, Jimin isn’t even lying. Sure, Yoongi-hyung’s face may or may not have popped into his mind at the first mention of anything associated with ‘relationships’, but they sure aren’t a couple. “I swear. What even makes you say that?”
“It’s just,” A look of doubt crosses Jihyun’s baby face as he frowns to himself, “I woke up last night to pee and I heard you talking on the phone at the stairs.”
“I could have been talking to anyone, a friend or a senior, like Namjoon or Gguk,” Jimin counters nonchalantly, brushing Jihyun’s pointed look off. “What?”
“You never talk in aegyo, hyung. Never.” Jihyun shakes his head and mimes a full body shudder. “But you were all squeaky and cutesy on the phone, ick.”
Jimin inwardly cringes. He wasn’t aware he even spoke like that, and towards Yoongi, of all people. He better adjust and be more aware. “That’s how I talk when I sleep.”
“Yeah, right.” Jihyun shoulders his backpack and hustles out the door. “You should introduce him sometime. Unless,” he glances back at Jimin with a knowing grin, “I’ve already met him. Does his name start with a Y?”
“Get out.” Jimin picks up a pair of balled-up socks and hurls it at Jihyun, but too late, his brother is already scampering down the stairs with a witchy cackle. “Annoying brat.”
He and Yoongi are not in a relationship!
