As I mentioned in the previous post, we worked quite hard on this one, several bug fixes, quality of life changes and lots of features paving the way to gameplay content.
3 bigest ones:
- Translations (for now only 2 for testing), the game has been patched from ground up to allow for proper localization and hot swapping at will.
- Jolt physics is back, so collisions and everything are way more reliable and may improve performance for some computers.
- Sex "challenge", which's where the sex will become a gameplay element, where you have to please the NPC and make sure they get off before you to increase affinity. (A lot of it isn't working yet like specific talking options, fluids when climaxing and whatnot)
Another change isn't visual but it's actually huge internally is that hairs used to be merged with the body and the character skeleton would keep additional bones to accommodate for all sorts of hair. This implementation was flawed and showed to be a challenge if we don't make all possible variation of hairs on our own, plus we aim to add fluff on characters when we clean up the code and make sure it's performant enough, but since hair was part of the body this added to the implementation challenge.
Now hairs should be their own thing with their own handful of bones for jiggle physics. A proper character skeleton clean up is still in process though.
