comic page wip πΏ + status update
🕑 Added 2021-06-16 20:43:41 +0000 UTCheyy π€ yesterday I could finish the lines of 2 pages!! I'm so happy about this, because the last two-ish weeks it didn't really work that well and now I see progress again and I'm very relieved and also super pumped to continue later today!
Which brings me to a small health status update: one year ago in June my vertigo started; and my guess always was that one of the reason that caused it was the hot / humid summer weather. My dizziness started in summer 2019 as well β so I was anticipating it getting a bit worse during summer again. Luckily there were many rainy days and spring lasted long this year and was quite cold, it was really good for me! Now summer has arrived and my daily dizzy spells have increased a lot unfortunately, just like I had expected.
My plan to get through the summer months without triggering another vertigo phase is to be really careful, like.... during the day I will just rest. I'm going to play MMOs (I started to play FF14!! it's a lot of fun), plan stuff, peek into Discord etc, watch something, basically preserving energy until it's night time.
I'm just learning to adapt to different situations and I think my body already tells me what is good for me at certain times β like right now, it's better not to draw during the day. During the last two weeks I've switched my sleeping rhythm up and I'm currently awake during the night when it's cooler and I sleep during morning hours until noon/afternoon!
It seems like my plan is starting to work out, because as I just told you I could finish lines for some panels and I always get so excited when I've found something new that helps!
For now I'm going to snail my way through life at night ππ
This being said, my health is a bit unpredictable, so I can't guarantee a new update for each summer month, but I will keep you updated on that as well! Just wanted to tell you in advance π
Thank you so much for your support and your patience while I figure out things, i love you so much!!

Thank you for the update! It's always a pleasure to hear from you. π I'm glad you're making progress and that you're taking it slow - listening to your body. And it's no wonder night time works best for you on "snail days" - it might have to do with humidity. π "Slugs and snails travel on slime. The moister their environment, the less slime they have to secrete. For this reason, both slugs and snails prefer to be out after rainstorms, after plants are watered, and at night when humidity is higher." So embrace the snail in you, and do what it would do! Have a happy June & Happy Pride π
