comic page wip π¦ + talking about comic stuff
🕑 Added 2021-05-04 20:53:22 +0000 UTChey, how are you? π€ I've had a pretty rough week last week (not because of my health for a change, so no worries!), but I'm doing much better again and currently I'm working on the next pages~
Here is a panel wip from scene 49 for you! I've started to include more dynamic poses and fullbody panels, because I actually love drawing bodies and showing off their different quirks and gestures, and now I will take my time just doing just that. For the current scenes it's a bit difficult to choose which panel wips to show without spoiling too much.... π₯΄ BUT I want to try to share more wips from now on still! I think puzzling together pieces beforehand can be fun, too, so here we go π
Also, a few days ago I posted a new update for public (tapas & webtoon) and it's soso relieving to see that many people are excited and have been waiting for the characters and the comic ;; I was a bit worried about this, not gonna lie, because I know that after a year of Hiatus (someone literally wrote it out as β11 months of hiatusβ and I sat there like frozen for a second because seeing it as actual months just hits different) it's not a given that there are people still invested and interested, so I just... I'm really really grateful to all of you, no matter if you're a new reader or have been following the story for a while! It's so motivating and makes me feel more at ease.
This year I have a lot of revealing to do, a lot of character development will happen, and I can finally show a lot of very important things that formed their relationship that I somehow managed to keep secret for years (i'm really proud of that hah π)! That's the reason why I was so excited about the flashback scenes before my Hiatus, and that's why I'm even more excited now! Because it's happening and actually within reach (storyboarded and all)!!
And while I'm at it I just need to add that I feel BIG LOVE for Robin and Noah, and at the moment I'm just throwing that excitement at you sjdhf please excuse me, this post just had to happen. But, I love the characters and the plot even more than in the beginning. They're just part of me, and part of my daily life. Can't and don't want to imagine being without. And somehow the longer I spend working on this story the more invested I get. I feel very lucky about that π»
I'll try to combine those feelings: I see that people are still invested in something I'm super invested in ;; And this just gives me !!!!!! β those feelings. Even though I have no idea how to describe it the right way... I think the closest would be that I feel very connected to my readers when I think about it. I just love when you share your thoughts with me, and your theories, and how you interpret the story for yourself!
Thank you so much for being here, i love youu π
P.S.: the Ghost Lights Discord server is open again with new channels and a few changes!! I still need to finish writing the detailed post about it, but for now, if you want to join the server please just send me a patreon DM with your Discord username and I'll send you the invite link πΈ!

This story is so beautiful and poignant and means a lot to all your devoted readers! I think we would've waited a while lot longer than just 11 months for it! There's something super special about this story. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but I know there's magic here and I can't wait to see the rest of the story unfold! Thank you for giving all of us something so heartfelt and marvelous to read. We are eternally grateful!πππ

No matter what, I and many others will wait for your story to continue. We all love you and the boys and want to hear their story come to life and your love to tell their story to come to fruition. It is such a special story with such a unique world. Close to ours but diving under the vale to reveal that which is unseen and I love learning about everything. It is one of my favorites that I reread constantly. Thank you for sharing that which is special to you with us. β‘

Hey, i just wanted to say that I've always really liked black band tattoos and wanted to get some, and I really liked Robin's configuration so I have an appointment to get some that are very similar (mine are thinner I think, 1in for the thick ones and .5in for the thinner ones) ;; and also Noah's lotus because that really resonated with me and I love how small and pretty it is. So in a way I'm kinda getting both the boys' tattoos soon! Honestly fanta your comic just resonates with me in a way nothing ever has and I can easily say it's my favorite of all time. I hope this isn't too much I just really love their tattoos π
So glad our excitement for your updates is motivating!! Big love to you and your work as always!!
