🕑 Added 2018-09-29 17:27:34 +0000 UTCanother patron request is done and i'm allowed to share! it's so fun to draw the OCs of others 💙 this is Adam and his other self from "Here Be Tygers", and you can find the story and more info on J's patreon, or visit him on IG or twitter
he left a small note too: "Fortunately, fantakoi and I share a love for the same kind of story: one where the fantastic and dark serve to underscore the characters‘ joy and surprise. So for the first piece, we decided on a certain scene from the prologue and Adam’s childhood—the one where he learns that not all the things that he should bury have died."
i'm looking forward to draw all of the upcoming patron requests, too!! your support is just incredible and i'm so lucky to have you all and to draw something especially for you is super exciting 🔥

Thanks, mate. I have a sketch of Adam that I’ve been working on—with fanta’s guidance. That she was able to pull so much from just that and the writing still amazes me. - J

Ah, goodness. I had so many ideas for this piece and fanta did such a wonderful job of shaping them into something quite lovely. The mirrored design was her idea, to better show how alike they were, and how through their expressions—Adam (determined); his other self (resigned)—their different lives and worlds have defined them. I am tremendously grateful that she was able to make such an intense and surreal scene come to life. —J
