🕑 Added 2017-07-24 20:56:02 +0000 UTCsomething i absolutely NEED TO DO but haven't gotten around to do yet is to design their first few outfits when they enter their half-human half-spirit form. i don't have a good name for this form tbh, do you have any suggestions? semi-spirit form maybe?
Noah's clothes and appearance merge with the nature around him (pretty much like in the prototype), and also with the current season and scenery! so for example: when there's a pond nearby and fireflies fly around at night... he's gonna adapt. maybe fireflies sit on his antlers, and his cloak looks like dark water and waterlilies grow on his skin. i have so many options and i'll just throw him into the most gorgeous clothes i can think of, and give him soft flowers and bows and gloves and so on,
Robin balances it out with minimalistic outfits, monochrome color schemes and geometric shapes, and uh, lots of smoke! it's maybe too early in the story to really notice i think?? but Robin mostly wears black, white, and gray clothes. he only owns very little stuff too (while Noah collects and holds onto basically everything... well collectED. time to start anew), and he has a thing for geometric simplicity, and dark industrial and modern (interior) design... what a nerd.

there's going to be 10 visits (where they visit the forest!) that push the story forward and they enter these forms. means each of them gets 10 different outfits minimum 👌 thankfully all sceneries are set and visits written already, so i hope i can find enough time for designing some of them soon.

Your ideas for this just sound. . .fantastic! I'm so in love with the concept and I can't wait to see how you work this out with them! It sounds absolutely beautiful and plays so well into what I've seen already. . .especially the contrast between the two of them. Noah reflecting the environment and all its vibrancy around him; Robin going with that smoke and ashes scheme. As for names I think you have a lot of options, there's older more classical instance of things like hemitheoi (half-gods) or you could do something like the demi-spirit/soul/etc or mythos-form/figure/etc (myth form). Anyway, loved reading this and can't wait to see it all!!

These look amazing! I'm so looking forward to seeing them in this form and all their outfits. Especially Noah's...it all sounds so beautiful! An idea for the name might be to call them their incarnations, since this is sort of like another version of their past selves. Or if you just want to simplify, you could just call it their half form. Whatever you decide to call it, I'm so excited for this story! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Loving all of this. Have you already picked out each of the environments you're going to use? I'm excited to see them all! As for the name of their spirit forms, you could always go for a more archaic approach. Like 'heart of the...' Or you could give the form the name of a spirit from an old folktale. For instance, a 'shade' is a ghost-like spirit in classic mythos (a shade typically has a negative connotation, but then again, their past selves didn't experience the most peaceful of deaths). Anyways, those are just some ideas. Hope that helps!

Ohhh, the perfect distraction for my job application 😂 For the name, in my opinion the semi- suffix makes me think of math and numerics and portions (like a pie) so I actually prefer the suffix demi- when it's comes to mixes of things! So like demi-spirit form or something. Idk? But anything sounds good to me :) Also the fact that Noah's outfits are basically just going to be as gorgeous as possible makes me suuuuper excited! But I'll say that Robin's monochrome is more like what my personal style ends up being 😂😂 Thanks for sharing and the "looking forward" info!!! 😘
