Channel updates and the worst camera ever
🕑 Added 2023-03-01 03:38:47 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I wanted to provide some updates on upcoming videos and what I'm working on. I will have a new episode of Retail Archaeology out on Friday. I was hoping to have it out sooner but I'm just getting over a wicked sinus infection and my voice doesn't sound quite right yet. I still sound a little plugged up. I normally get a sinus infection this time of year but this one stuck around longer than usual. My nose is raw from blowing it so much lol. Thankfully it wasn't covid, I've still somehow managed to dodge that. As soon as my voice sounds right I can record the voice over for the video and get it done.
Besides the next episode of Retail Archaeology for this week, I'm working on episode of Thrifting Time. I picked up 2 old digital cameras in this episode, including an America Online Digicam. I took both old cameras out to shoot some photos and the AOL camera is by far the worst digital camera I've ever used! I've attached some pictures from it for you to laugh at. I'll dig deeper into this camera and the other one in the episode.
On the subject of travel, I'm taking a short trip in a few days to film some stuff including a mall I've never been to before. I'm really excited to check it out and I think it will make for a great video. I also am planning on heading to Southern California in a few months to film and see some friends. I'm hoping to try to travel more between now and the trip to SoCal but my day job has been unpredictable lately making travel plans hard.
Lastly, I wanted to talk a bit about my plans for the RA2 channel this year. I definitely want to bring Siesta Mall back. I was planning on streaming again starting January. However, the unpredictability of my day job lately hasn't left me with as much free time as I thought I would have. As soon as it calms down I do plan on streaming Mall Tycoon again. I also want to start making more videos for the RA2 channel. I cover interesting and neat places on the Retail Archaeology channel, I'd like to start doing videos on interesting and neat things on the RA2 channel. Stuff like vintage electronics, toys, games, computers, ect. The Retail Archaeology channel will still definitely be my main focus.
Lastly, I wanted to say thank so so much to all of you for your continued support. I'll see you all Friday with a new episode of Retail Archaeology ๐

How exciting! Canโt wait for the upcoming video as well as Thrifting Time. I remember Siesta Mall/Mall Tycoon livestreams being such a treat! Those will be fun to see again. I work in QA also, so I know how crazy the schedules can get! No need to apologize. The content is always worth waiting for! ๐
