I’m sure someone has mentioned this already but the Clown animatronic is from the iconic B Movie, Killer Klowns from Outer Space by the Chiodo Brothers. all the Klowns were horrifying and practical effects. One of the Klown costumes was reused in Ernest Scared Stupid, just painted a different color and without the clown nose. highly recommended watch if you hadn’t know about it
