After going through all the extras on my site, I think this and The Healing Touch are the only ones I'm going to move over for now. Everything else is mostly PG13-ish, so I think it'll be fine. But going forward, anything spicy will be posted to here and Ream only.
(Content warning for me absolutely ruining a scene from a particular magical franchise that has already been ruined by its creator. ^__^; I'm not exactly treating it with respect here, but if you don't want to engage in anything to do with said author's work, I completely understand.)
Hunter stripped as Richard leaned back against the dressing room vanity, a soft smirk on his face. His eyes raked over every newly revealed inch of skin, heating Hunter's blood faster than almost anything else could.
It was too bad this was a solo scene—the growing bulge in Richard's pants said he'd be willing to film if necessary—but Brandt had other ideas. Richard might claim he didn't enjoy being edged, but anytime Hunter filmed solo, he was right there, prowling behind the cameras as he watched and couldn't touch, as Hunter put on a show that might as well have been just for him. A show that often lasted for hours.
Hunter should tell MateHub to set up "hidden" cameras in the dressing room to catch Richard after the scene was wrapped, at his breaking point, so desperate to have Hunter that he was on him the moment the door closed behind them—if he managed to hold himself back that long. The fans would love it. Richard would be half feral with need and want, his fangs and claws making an appearance, his knot starting to expand even before he thrust in deep. And Hunter was always stretched and oversensitive from playing with himself on set, but feeling Richard's desperation keenly through their bond, more than happy to get bent over or pressed against whatever surface Richard wanted to take him on.
He was already mostly prepared for the scene. Still, he took his time doing a little last-minute stretching, letting Richard enjoy the private show, then he slipped on the robe Zinnia had provided—not the usual one MateHub stars wore before and after filming, but familiar all the same, back by popular fan request. The sheer black fabric and silver glitter did nothing to hide him from Richard's ravenous gaze.
"So ridiculous," Richard scoffed, but his expression and their bond told another story. He was seconds away from falling to his knees and inhaling Hunter's cock. Hunter really should get Zinnia to make him one of these for his own personal use. Not that Richard ever needed any encouragement to suck him off.
But Hunter did the responsible thing and walked out of the room. If that walk included him slinking past Richard, brushing a quick kiss to his lips, and squeezing his dick through his designer jeans, who could blame him? After all, Hunter never claimed to be a bastion of responsibility.
He made his way on set. Tristan had worked his magic, transforming it into a cluttered, old-timey shop full of shelves that stretched up to the ceiling, each one haphazardly stuffed with boxes of various sizes, but all roughly the same shape—long and thick. He was lounging off to the side, waiting for later in the scene when his brand of special effects would be needed.
Ryder stood beside the wooden counter, already in position to start the scene. His robes, Hunter couldn't help but notice, while still sheer and glittery, included pants. Though in all fairness, he wouldn't be doing anything that required him to remove them.
He chuckled when he saw Hunter. "Man, I'm so glad they have you to do these scenes. They annoy the hell out of the council, and that will never stop being amusing."
Hunter snorted. "What? Are you telling me this isn't how mages get their 'wands'?"
"Tragically, no. I have also yet to trip and fall on a shifter's knot during a ritual, but one can always hope."
Hunter shook his head, grinning. He was never going to live that scene down, was he?
Brandt called action, and Hunter pretended to walk into Ryder's shop.
"I wondered when I'd be seeing you, Mr. Savage." Ryder's voice had taken on a mystical tone.
"I need—"
"Oh, I know what you need."
Ryder turned and pulled a box off a shelf, then carefully opened it, folding back the tissue paper to reveal the dildo nestled inside, already glistening with lube. "Six and three-quarters inches, coyote shifter with a respectable knot, delightfully springy."
He handed over the toy with a grave solemnity, and Hunter held it with an appropriate amount of awe and wonder.
"Well, give it a ride," Ryder encouraged.
"Cut!" Richard yelled, and everyone turned to stare at him.
Brandt's expression was downright confused. Was anyone but the director even allowed to call cut? It certainly had never happened during any of Hunter's previous scenes.
"Is… there a problem?" Brandt asked, clearly thrown off by this course of events.
Richard crossed his arms over his chest. "If Ryder knew what Hunter needed, he wouldn't be giving him inferior merch."
"We talked about this," Hunter said, unable to keep the fond exasperation out of his voice. "They want to show off their new merch with this video."
"The new merch can sit in the background. You don't need to try it. Ryder can just give you mine right away."
Brandt looked offended. "But there's no dramatic tension in that."
Next to him, Everett nodded. "It's the rule of three! Hunter needs to try two before the third one works. It's more satisfying that way."
"Mine is more than satisfying by itself."
"He meant narratively satisfying," Tristan said dryly, not bothering to look up from his phone.
"Yes!" Everett was almost bouncing on his feet. "By showing how the first two don't work, we can then emphasize how perfect yours is. It makes yours seem even better by comparison."
"I promise I will absolutely not enjoy the others," Hunter added. He didn't bother to hide his laughter. "And if it helps, I'm sure Brandt will let you rip the other two to shreds after the scene is over."
Every member of the crew winced, and Hunter couldn't blame them. MateHub's merch was too realistic to want to see something like that happen.
Richard cocked his head, considering that, then nodded, appeased by the idea of slaughtering the merch that dared to touch Hunter.
Hunter just rolled his eyes. He was bonded to the most ridiculous wolf shifter ever, and he wouldn't want it any other way.
When Brandt started filming again, he did it while eyeing Richard like he wasn't sure if there'd be another interruption.
The entire time Hunter tested out the first toy, he felt Richard's grumbling through their bond, but he didn't disrupt the scene a second time.
The dildo was… fine. Nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't hitting him right, no matter how he shifted his hips. He didn't have to act during the part where the script called for him to 'bounce on it halfheartedly.'
"Apparently not," Ryder announced, waving him off the toy and reaching for another box. "Perhaps this… Lion shifter, six and a half inches with extra thickness and retractable spines. Surprisingly flexible."
Hunter gave it a try. He'd used lion shifter merch before. The spines were interesting. While they looked intimidating, there was a silken softness to them. Instead of scraping against sensitive skin, they glided over it, offering a little extra texture that teased him from the inside. And while they'd never been his favorite, he could understand why some people might like them. Still, all this did was make him crave what came next.
As Richard watched, his smugness built. He could feel Hunter wasn't getting what he needed, feel how eager he was for that satisfying conclusion the rule of three was supposed to bring him.
"Definitely not." The words yanked Hunter's gaze away from Richard and back to Ryder, who sized Hunter up, then turned and slowly pulled out a massive box. "I wonder…"
He inched toward Hunter while opening the box and taking out the toy inside. His voice was hushed with a reverence that had Richard's pride glittering in Hunter's mind. "Wolf shifter. The largest we've got. Its knot is huge. Extremely rigid."
Richard's anticipation curled through Hunter, making him swallow hard as he took the toy. Richard's wolf flashed in his eyes, a predatory stillness coming over him. All his intense focus was trained solely on Hunter, on watching him as he positioned the dildo, as he sank down on it, as he gasped and moaned.
It would never be as good as the real thing, but damn if it wasn't better than everything else.
Hunter kept his attention fixed on Richard and ignored the cameras, Ryder, and the crew. He ignored the way the air around him stirred and began to glow as Tristan did something with his magic, making white squiggles light up on his arms. He ignored everything but Richard's heated stare and the promise it held for what was going to happen the moment this scene was finished.
The knot on the toy magically expanded on its own, locking into him as he clenched down around it and jerked himself to completion. He came with a cry, his whole body shaking from the force of his orgasm.
As he struggled to regain his breath, Ryder clasped him on the shoulder, smirking down at him. "The wand chooses the mage, Mr. Savage, and I think you just found your ideal match."
The scene ended with Hunter pulling off the toy, then standing on shaky legs as he stared at it with wide, amazed eyes, only ruined slightly as he and Ryder did their best not to snicker at the ridiculousness of it all.
"Cut!" Brandt said. "That was perfect! Exactly what the writers wanted!"
Tristan snorted. "Perfect is one word for it."
But before Hunter could say anything in response, Richard was already hauling him off set, all but carrying him back to his dressing room, not even giving him a chance to set the toy down.
Laughing, Hunter yelled his thanks to the crew over Richard's shoulder.
"Have fun!" Ryder shouted back.
Once they were in the room, Richard yanked the toy out of his hand, and for one second, Hunter thought he was actually going to rip it apart, but then he shook his head and tossed the thing in the garbage, where it landed with a heavy thunk.
"You are not seriously jealous of your own merch, are you?"
Richard grumbled again, but then he was crowding Hunter onto the vanity and all but ripping open his zipper.
Hunter grinned. Maybe he should place a new order with the MateHub shop. The poor toys might get murdered, but that was an acceptable loss if it meant getting Richard this worked up, his claws digging into Hunter's thighs, a low growl building in his throat as he slid between Hunter's legs.
Yes, that was precisely what Hunter would do. But first, he was going to get railed senseless by his territorial disaster of a mate, and he was going to savor every mind-blowing second of it.
