“Greetings, Prince…” The merchant attempted to offer a greeting but was quickly silenced by a glare from Chazrick as he stormed past.
Prince Chazrick rounded the corner leading to his rooms, colliding with Madame Sharan coming from the other direction. She stumbled to the floor after the impact. The prince was about to ignore the high-elven woman sprawled on the floor to continue walking. Instead, he paused to inspect her attractive appearance.
The first thing he noticed was the four bronze earrings pierced through her left ear, symbolising her status of belonging to a tier-four bronze-ranked House. A merchant High-elf commoner House. Next, was her breathtaking beauty. Her porcelain white skin was without flaw. Prince Chazrick couldn’t resist, he reached down to brush a lustrous strand of sandy brown hair back behind her ear. It had been knocked loose by their impact.
Madame Sharan sprawled artistically across the floor. She looked up at the offender of their collision indignantly. Her gorgeous eyes quickly turned flirtatious after recognising the prince. She examined his exposed muscular chest with admiration.
“Prince Hydra, please excuse my clumsiness. I lost my composure. It is unbecoming of me. How may I make it up to you?” Sharan asked, fluttering her exquisite eyelashes with downcast eyes.
“Madame Sharan, it is I who must apologise. My actions were careless. I was distracted by my thoughts. It seems I am once more the most eligible bachelor in the empire of Nyre. Forgive my forwardness, but I must express my admiration for your beauty. It is wasted in such a place as this,” Prince Chazrick said.
His breathing became heavy as his eyes drank in Madame Sharan’s exquisite form. His phallus strained against his breeches as his gaze strayed over the immaculate skin of her exposed thighs. Noticing his arousal, Madame Sharan took advantage. She intentionally shifted her position, causing her skirt to ride higher. “That is most unfortunate, perhaps I can offer you some consolation. I find myself in need of a personal assistant. With your experience, your advice would be invaluable to me. Are you interested?” Prince Chazrick asked, reaching down to pull Sharan gracefully to her feet.
“I believe that would be a rare opportunity for me to have a change of scenery. I graciously accept your offer… My lord,” Sharan replied, seductively pressing her lithe form against his body.
Sharan tilted her head back, playfully biting her lower lip. Chazrick could no longer suppress his desire. He grabbed a handful of her hair before savagely kissing her lips. He lifted her onto his hips, slamming her back into the wall. The sound of a nearby artwork falling from where it hung to hit the floor distracted the pair for a moment. They turned to investigate the noise. Seeing the gold-framed oil painting on the floor, Sharan reached up to turn Chazrick’s face back toward her. Once more resuming their passionate kiss.
Ignoring any potential witnesses, Sharan bared her perky breasts before draping her arms around Chazrick’s neck. He tucked his softening phallus inside his breeches, tying them closed. Leaning in, he gently gripped Sharan’s chin to leave a brief kiss. He straightened before walking away, leaving her standing in the hall behind him. Sharan glanced after his departing figure, she brushed her hair into place with her fingers. Chazrick never saw the self-satisfied smirk grow on Sharan’s face as she watched him turn the corner.
Prince Chazrick arrived at his suite, inside was decorated with furniture of the finest quality. Disregarding the extravagant decor, Chazrick raised an empty palm. A glowing arcane symbol appeared in the space above it. Particles of energy congealed together to form the bright outline of an item. The light solidified into a sealed scroll. His expression became resolute as he broke the seal before unfurling the scroll. The page was empty. Chazrick bit the tip of his thumb, drawing blood. He pressed his thumb against the page and began to speak.
“Hearken to me, people of Nyre. I, Prince Chazrick of Royal House Hydra formally declare Silver-ranked House Stormbourne as an enemy of my House. All alliances and trade agreements between us have been nullified. Henceforth, those that offer aid to any of House Stormbourne’s members shall be regarded as their collaborators. They will be met with swift retaliation from Royal House Hydra.” Prince Chazrick declared.
Words written in the arcane language appeared on the unfurled scroll as Prince Chazrick spoke. Everything he said was recorded in blazing red script. When he finished his decree, the scroll was consumed by flames. It was replaced by a growing arcane symbol that darkened the room, expanding through the walls to encase the sky above the House of Worldy Delight and beyond. The symbol was projected across countless kingdoms to be seen everywhere. After the symbol faded, a voice could be heard by citizens throughout the entire continent of Nyre. It was Prince Chazrick’s decree.
