Gratitude and appreciation go hand in hand, one follows the other. Sensing an air of familiarity within this file and the answer to the question would be yes, of course and would say that the submissive knows that and the lengths the dominant has gone to, to guide and help them to feel more comfortable over time and would say that a lot of the frustration is because they feel they have let down the dominant and wasting his time, by not following commands or instruction as a submissive should and would not be at all surprised that he would tire of them because they too are tired of their mind and would be saddened to think that the dominant might think they were ungrateful or did not appreciate the immense effort made over quite as long period of time, which is not the case. My journey runs strikingly parallel with the submissive in the story, maybe one of the same that's not for me to say...but this one has a conscience and suffice to say that they owe the dominant for his kindness, patience and efforts, a debt of gratitude or at the very least an I.O.U. feeling rather contrite for being so needy, but also appreciate and moved and humbled by the sentiment and caring and thoughtfulness put in the file.
