Chapter 512. Berry Math: The Return Of The All-Berry Wielder. [AotSC]

After all, if she shows up and these people communicate with those above, wouldn’t she be in trouble? Liu Shu didn’t want to deal with a powerhouse beyond Level 100. Not when Level 100 was an incredibly profound divider.
‘I need to surround them and create a powerful anti-communication Runic Field that covers their entire continent. That way, their messages will be unable to make it through…’ Liu Shu was doubtful, though. ‘Can I truly create something that their advanced technology can’t deal with?’
“Ugh… Why did things complicate again? I guess that I should’ve already expected it when we found that strange technology and corrupting methods. Skeptically thinking that the Abyssal Void Nexus was just more technologically advanced was a mistake.’
After a little while, Liu Shu finally decided on what to do. “I’ll surround the Abyssal Void Nexus continent slowly as I spread everywhere else. In the meantime, I’ll use my main consciousness to check on the only thing I have yet to check… Berries!”
After merging Nature’s Gift with all the other skills, Liu Shu noticed a ridiculous change in all her fruits and many more details about her house daughters.

Let’s start with the biggest change that <Otherworldly Rune and Nature Empire> brought for Liu Shu and her berry-producing capabilities. Among the many sentences, it was easy to miss, but one of them read as such: [Finally, all Lignified Species will be able to grow one or two fruit varieties, at random, that the World Tree can grow herself.]
Once Liu Shu realized what this truly meant, her little mouth almost dropped. “W-Wait. Doesn’t this mean that all the structures I’ve built can grow berries in their branches…? ALL of them!?”
Moreover, the advantage of this was that the trees themselves would collect the ternary essences needed for the berries to grow quickly. This was both an incredibly welcome matter and a headache. “Just how many berries will I be able to produce once I start producing berries again?”
Of course, there have been changes to her berries; Liu Shu could even see two new varieties among them. Regardless, all berries were now A Rank. This came with incredible changes in production volume, costs, and effects.

Moreover, Liu Shu was surprised to notice one sentence at the very beginning that made her quite excited.

Previously, she could use the 10% cost to accelerate 100 days. It was not 720, which was a gigantic change. Nevertheless, the next sentence was the game-breaker. “I can eat my own berries!”

According to the system and her own calculations, her babies more than doubled the total yield of fruits.
“Let’s eat the fruits and see what their effects are.” Focusing all her energy to help her babies mature the fruits she wanted, she soon had them in her branches. She grabbed them and pondered how to eat them.
“Should I just throw it against my body? Bury them in my roots? Eat them through my mouth? Perhaps my avatar?”

Happy with the changes to her stats, Liu Shu became quite happy. Moreover, now she was earning 1,353 Experience Points daily passively. The earnings were truly egregious. “I can level up every 2,240 days, which is around six years…. Even if I don’t earn passive experience points from occasional eliminations of flora and fauna in my territory, this leveling pace is impressive.”
To show how crazy that was, Liu Shu could go from Level 90 to Level 99 in just under 75 years by just… existing. This Leveling speed was unheard of for World Trees in the Ceperet World.
“Alright, this is sorted. I need to inform the Berry gatherers and Flor about my babies’ abilities to grow fruits~. I bet she will be super happy!”
After a while, Liu Shu spotted Flor resting with the rest of her family. They were all in Red’s backyard, Cinderielle’s Tree House Daughter.
“Liu Shu is pregnant again?” Flor asked, baffled.
The girls smiled bashfully, and Harmonixia coughed. “It’s mine this time around, probably. Also… It’s not entirely our fault. Lian’er gets pregnant super easily…”
Flor rubbed her forehead. “I wonder how many children she will eventually have.”
Liu Shu jumped into the conversation at this time. “What is that tone for? You and Mommy Ignatia are the two least qualified to tell me that I am having too many babies!”
Flor’s eyebrow twitched. “You already have over ten thousand children if we count the <Lignified> structures. Are you even taking care of them? I am sure that they want their mother to speak to them!”
“Of course I am taking care of them!” Liu Shu added proudly. “I have even given them the ability to grow fruits like me!”
Everyone turned silent, frozen in place. Their necks creaked while they turned to look at the gargantuan World Tree. Flor stuttered, her heart hurting. “Y-You gave them what?”
Liu Shu spoke proudly. “The ability to have my fruits! Moreover, they are World-Ranked fruits! Growing fruits will be something quite fun for them. As trees, I am sure they will be delighted. Of course, the number of fruits they can produce is not small. When combined, they can produce more than their mommy! I am so proud, hehehehe. From my calculations, they should yield around 120 million berries monthly! Aaaaaaalll World-Ranked fruits!”
Flor’s trembling hand scrambled to find her emotional supper teacup, and she took a deep slurping sip from it. Only then was she able to fall back onto the comfortable chair. “Ah… The weather is so nice.”
Looking up, everyone could only see Liu Shu’s gargantuan canopy blotting the sky. After all, Red and the others were in the inner part of the city, where Liu Shu’s canopy reached almost everywhere.
Still, nobody denied it. Melody took a long sip as well, speaking softly. “Indeed. Such a beautiful cloudless sky.”
Liu Shu, looking at the cloudy sky above her canopy, was confused. “But… Mommy, the sky is—”
“Shhh….” Flor hushed gently. “Let me have a few minutes of peace before all forest fire breaks loose.”
Somehow, Liu Shu decided to give them this moment of peace. Even if she didn’t understand, she respected her mother’s wishes. In the meantime, Liu Shu continued explaining her fruits and their effects.
Each time she finished explaining one, all people present, even Cinderielle and the other lovers, took a long and much-needed sip of the A Rank calming tea, refilling their cups each time they finished it.
By the time Liu Shu finished explaining, they had all drunk 8 cups—almost one cup per berry.

Those are some broken berries 😲. It seems the Sylvans can improve their energy cycle completion rate now as well. I'm pretty sure their first energy cycle was around 70% so I'm assuming their others are similar. It looks like everyone is going to need to spend some time digesting the new berries before more fighting starts.
