ohh, I like the Karma here. Some of the violent GTS ones turn me off a bit, but I like how this series builds sympathy for the girl and also setup feedback karma. My favorite series so far!

N part is algebra. If N=20, then page 20 it would be 20-20 days, so zero. It's a countdown without revealing how many pages remain that also keeps track of page number. Pretty neat

Yea n part it's weird, and it also says: "days left" but it keeps increasing instead of decreasing. So it would make sense it's just to count the pages as you suggested.
