It is a hard journey, unlearning all the toxic expectations and opinions our society forces on young girls. Our bodies are sacred and deserves to be seen as what it is, a beautiful creation of nature, an work of art with perfectly imperfect details. How I hope we can raise our sons and daughters to be kind to their bodies, to appreciate the resilience it holds and to see it as something that is yours only and that no one can take away from you.
