"Thank you" videos
I send out personalized thank you videos to everyone who supports me on Patreon. I've been overwhelmed by all the new people recently that I haven't gotten around to doing those at all for the month of May. Thanks for being patient with me. There are nearly 100 new people here within the last 30 days! Wild! I promise I'm getting to these videos. I'm just running behind on the current video, and that's been stressful as well. Speaking of which...
Early access to videos
This is a new thing I'm doing this year, and so far it's been fun! I like posting the videos for you all a week or so before they go up on YouTube. So you're probably wondering where the next video is. As I said, I'm running behind on it. I took a small vacation, then had a long weekend for Memorial Day, then immediately had a sick day after coming back to work, so the video still isn't finished and I'm much further behind than I hoped. There is even a chance that it might be delayed another week just so I can catch up. So, once again, thanks for hanging in there and being patient with me.
Other stuff
I'm still planning on writing out all the names of the $10 and up Patrons in colorful markers. I haven't done that in a bit and I need to get back in the rhythm of it. And I think very soon we will have a comprehensive survey to send out to all NerdSync fans including patrons and non-patrons to give me some more insight on what kinds of content you all like to see from me.
Thanks as always for the support! New videos incoming. I just hit a bump for a few days and lost some momentum. But I still have plenty motivation to pick it back up and make cool stuff for you all! Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts in the comments below or on Discord!

Scott, about the thank you-videos, I understand you want to keep your promises. I`m guessing maybe you`re freaked out if people are gonna be mad at you that first you promised to send them a personalized video, but then go back at your promise. I understand you want to show your gratitude to us individually. That`s all admirable. But we humans, none of us have infinite time or infinite energy to spare. So we always have to make decisions on how to use ours. Decisions about what things need our energy and time the most. It`s clear to me that you`re struggling with the thank you-videos, and it would be more beneficial to your actual main project, the media analysis-videos, that you allocate your time and energy from those thank you-videos, in to your media analysis videos. But also, don`t forget your free time, right? If you want to ask us patrons general opinions, you could do a poll about whether to keep the videos or not. You could also make the thank you-videos optional. I think it would be best if you`d change the tier pledge a little, so it doesn`t have the thank you-videos part. Because what if there`s going to be another surge of patrons in the future, and you`ll be stuck with making a bunch of thank you videos again? I`ll just say up front that I don`t need my thank you-video. I already know you`re grateful to me, because you have always told us patrons that you appreciate all of our help, that our help is vital to you, and that`s enough thanks for me.
Same, I've been at the video tier since January with no video and I'm still around 😃 It's a fun idea but not getting it isn't going to cause me to discontinue my patronage, lol. Your mental health and feeling less stressed so you can continue creating awesome videos is more important!!!!
