The 1 page at a time thing I've been doing recently has been good for me because it keeps me honest. If the expectation is that something goes up every other workday, then obviously I better be working. But I think I agree more pages at once is better on the consumption end.

One page at a time is hard to understand. What I would end up doing would be to wait for a megadump of pages anyway.
