For the past half year I've been working on a secret project - my own physical miniature wargame. For a while I've been contemplating how to make my own miniatures usable outside of proxies. As a result I've been working hard developing my own game with a playability specific for my minis and factions I've created these past 3 years.
Having been inspired by different card and tabletop games that I loved growing up, yugioh, mtg and dnd, my game is being developed with the elements that I like from those games. Implementing a system to track health/stats, abilities as once per turn effects and a whole lot of dice roll dependent randomness that makes the game fun.
The recent months I've been fine tuning game mechanics and playtesting with different people. Making sure that my game is easy to understand and fun to play. I've tested my game for said playtests within Tabletop Simulator. Having created a digital version to test for the actual physical game. That being said, I still haven't thought of a name for the game...
As of now I've got two factions playable, gonna playtest a few more times and hopefully release my V1.0 during or at the end of March. When the game releases I intend to launch with 4 - 8 playable factions for people to play with. Each with their own gameplay gimmicks unique to them. Future BlueWyvern releases will be made with my wargame in mind.
I'll share more game updates along the way!
