was quite happy with the chorus chord progression but wasn't super happy with the vocal melody written around it until this version, which was mostly down to emphasizing the harmony differently. i like it quite a lot now!

kitcaliber is a dream come true. i like both this and the original, they can stand on their own as individual tracks imo.
