I read that comment you posted to confirm he was talking about Gina and it got me thinking. I am now wondering if Donny's hatred actually stems from a delusion that she isn't sincere. That she is basically the THEY's version of a Poe and just trying to make people like Donny look bad or crazy. It would explain his visceral aversion to the comparison between them and why he is so upset that his followers are supporting her.
