I understand the game you mentioned, Control, shares a universe with the Alan Wake games, which is HEAVILY inspired by Twin Peaks.

Glad you're still with this as this is the point where a lot of people check out with the dip in quality, I personally still love it even at this point. Very excited to see you get through the next few episodes and the finale (which is my favorite episode of the original series) along with Fire Walk With Me and The Return which is the icing on the cake of all of Twin Peaks, get ready it's gonna be a wild ride!
