One of my favorite cuts. "WELL WHO ELSE, HUH?!" cut to Tony with his shit eating grin looking at photos of stolen cars including theirs.

Since Anthony mentioned "medigans", it reminded me of a Youtuber called Stevie B, who has a very entertaining series of videos on Italian-American slang. It's a good companion piece to the Sopranos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSxXbUxz67Y

I love the episode where they go to Italy. Really captures that feeling of not quite belonging to two different places you get as the child of immigrants. In the states, they consider themselves Italian and even have a word for non-italian americans--Medigans. But they aren't truly Italian either as Paulie learns when the food is not the typical spaghetti and meatballs, they don't really speak the language outside of a few words, and the prostitute he hooks up with couldn't care less where his ancestors are from. As someone who was born the states to an immigrant father, it really resonated with me.
