Major Surgery Update

I meant to post an update before hand, but don't seem to have managed to post it here.
So here is a longer update from my bf, to explain what's happening.

Hey everyone, Resolute (the boyfriend) here. Wilds meant to post before he went into surgery again but the system ate it. So here's what's happened since his last post—skip to the TLDR if you're squeamish about medical stuff or just want an update on story content.
The good news, he was released from the hospital at the beginning of June and sent home to heal. He was too tired after a month in a hospital to post an update for a while, plus the location of the surgery made it difficult for him to sit for any extended period of time.
Unfortunately he had terrible sinus pain and a fever flare up a week and a half ago, and had to go back to the emergency room and be readmitted. Tests found both MRSA and a fungal infection; the former started in his jawbone and spread through his sinuses and throat, while the fungal infection is there but also spread through more of his body, including his kidneys, so he was dealing with blood and clots in his urine.
This past week he was moved to the top hospital in the state, one of the best in the country, so he is in VERY good hands. Further unfortunately, though, they did have to do surgery again, this time much more significant. Part of his upper jawbone and palate had to be removed. After they go back in to make sure they don't need to do any more cleaning, he'll be healing up and likely need a prosthesis of some sort.
He is doing better pain-wise, at least, and recovering some of his energy. It'll be an adjustment. Back to the fortunate tone: he is one of the strongest and best people I know, and I'm not just saying that because I date him (well, it's certainly one of the reasons I date him, so maybe I am saying it). I have every confidence that he will pull through this latest challenge.
TLDR:
It will be a while before he's got his energy back enough to reliably interact with his communities—let alone to get back to writing. He wanted me to draft this as a general update and as a message to you lovely patrons. If the pause in story chapters isn't tenable for you and you need to downgrade or cancel your patronage, he completely understands.
He also wants to thank you all and share his love for the support you've already shown. It really does mean the world to him.

Hey, folks. You might want to be sitting down for this. Wilds passed away just under an hour ago. I don't know details yet, please don't ask, but his body was under incredible stress from multiple infections and was starting to shut down over the weekend. He was a hell of a fighter, so if he couldn't beat the odds, they couldn't be beaten. I didn't get to talk *with* him since he was sedated, but since they say people can still hear you under sedation, I made two promises to him before I left. One was that I would take care of his communities. He brought people together, we forged new friendships. He gave us so much. I don't want to see that incredible accomplishment fade and people drift apart, if I can. I don't have access to his accounts yet but when I do I'll make a post and see what the option is for sunsetting this Patreon. The second, which all of you can help with sharing: that, if possible, his writing will live forever. If you have or can get copies of his writing, please do so. No funeral is planned, instead there will be a celebration of life at some point in the mid future. Also in the works is something that people can write in about how our beloved writeryote blessed our lives, to be collected in a scrapbook for his family. Much love to you all. Please, take care of yourselves and each other. Reach out to those around you if you need help, as I've promised to do the same.
