I am SO ready for them to find out Steven ISN'T WD. Amethyst isn't wrong to be wary and uncomfortable, and she's the one who WOULD be perfect to voice these fears. The others have them too but they're probably too wary of rocking the boat to voice them unless there's a concrete cause for concern.

poor steven :(, but i understand Amethyst pov, it is kinda scary that he can control people like puppets in that way

It also probably doesn’t help the fact that Jasper is a quartz like her and if he has no trouble controlling the “perfect” model what does that mean for her and Rose. It probably really really scares her how easily she could be controlled just like Jasper

It strikes me that Amethyst thought, for at least a while there, that Steven was finally a gem “like her”. Not the standard model of whatever gem he was, lost and alone until the Crystal Gems found him, a weird obsession with having his body do biological things… and then they found out that he wasn’t actually very much like her at all, and he started being powerful and competent, and now she’s the “runt” again. I can see how that would bring her to this kind of frustration.
