I don't know if this is gonna be a later point of contention, but this episode only introduced Steven to Connie's parents and not the Crystal Gems. Might be interesting later when Connie has to explain them to her parents.

This was so sweet and wholesome! Greg's speech was especially touching. Steven really deserves some acknowledgment and validation! Also, Connie's dad being a Mr. Universe fanboy was a nice touch.

As much as the comments had me thinking the Maheswaran's would separate Connie and Steven, can't forget this is *Steven Universe* even if is an au (also pretty sure Chekhov already told us that this au is gonna stay close to the original cannon; which makes the Maheswaran's accepting Steven necessary 😅)

Ohhh, I let out the most relieved sigh at the end of all this. I’m so glad things worked out. A part of me is a little bit disappointed that they didn’t end up explaining everything to Connie’s parents, but it’s best to take these things in steps.

I like this episode, I don't know if Steven last name was mentioned before but is good to know it now. But I hope Steven has a talk with Amethyst and Pearl, even if he was lying, they just complicated everything
