This is sorta tangential but especially with Sapphire's equation explanation at the beach in Future, my understanding was always that Future Vision was basically an incredibly complex calculation, rather than actually "seeing timelines" or anything like that. Sapphire would run through all the information available, factoring in a bunch of details too small for most people to notice, and predictively generate the one future that seems most probable; Garnet's is expanded by Ruby's understanding of emotional impulsivity, so she sees probability distributions based on decision-making. But both of them can be caught off guard because while their future vision is ridiculously perceptive, it's still limited to building off details Garnet could theoretically know, and the probabilities given are subject to her biases (such as writing off possible Steven decisions that turned out to be high-probability because she didn't think he had grown enough to make those choices).

Like I said before why wouldn’t they want to move away? Ever since allowing Connie to associate with Beach City bad things keep happening. True the events unfolding have nothing to do with her in the town but it’s a negative association. It’s better in their minds to move away from the negativity and start fresh somewheres possibly a little less destroyed or maybe more as those areas might need more doctors on a common enough basis to necessitate permanent residence. Point is that whatever reason they have is very valid
