At the end of day, these numbers and records don’t hold as much value when people stream anything and everything from their faves regardless of the quality. Even idol groups aware of this to where it’s not surprising to them. Go outside, take a breather and enjoy the music lol.

Deleting my previous message so I can be more respectful to the creators of the channel but I still stand by what I said 🥰 Anyway appropriating such a historical achivement will always be serious whether a k poppies thinks its okay to take or not , we should always correct and push for the correct information. To fight for the spreading of misinformation is such a kpoppie mindset. Not caring as long it benefits yalls faves is such a kpoppie mindset. Ppl should take pride in the things they actually accomplished. personally just hate how in general misinformation can be spread through big platforms for media play and ppls benefits and how far ppl are willing to discredit someone else. Ppl have worked a** for what they got and faced hardships to achieve such historic records so yes it'll always be serious especially when there is a clear pattern of ppl trying to discredit it by media ,other companies, and groups

I'm pretty sure they did know but I'm not gonna spread hate towards them or really argue with ppl over. After he apologized he should've corrected it or edited it, or even put a caption saying they were wrong cause apologizing does nothing when it's not actually corrected. It's still up in the video and it's disrespectful to the group who actually achieved it cause the record was not the girls and it'll continue to spread misinformation the more ppl who watch it. It's still doesn't make sense how such misinformation got passed editing and yg when yg knows they don't own that record even if you think the girls don't know, yg definitely does. So many ppl review things like this before it's posted and it still got through. The decent thing to do would be to actually correct it.

I hope carpool karaoke corrected the misinformation in this . Looking at it they didn't.... Just so you know they were in fact not the first k pop group to reach #1 , they were the 4th and I was hoping the could've at least corrected it in captions or deleted that part instead continually spreading that misinformation after full on admitting they were wrong. ( how they make a mistake like that idk...how it got through the program and yg idk) No hate to the girls i just think its wrong to do that to the ppl who actually achived that record ,something should have been done about spreading misinformation on such a big platform. It's a decent achievement to be the first female k pop group to get that record but it's disrespectful to the group who actually achieved it and should've been corrected after admitting it was false information.
