Loooove this song!! Curt you're spot on with the "he asks a question and then explores possible answers", he does do that a lot and it's so interesting, he will present a few answers from his point of view but he also lets us think and bring our own understanding... and i 100% understand that lyric videos are easier to use to react and follow along but i really really hope those of you who appreciate and dissect lyricism go find better translations afterwards! yoongi really killed it in this one and this album in general 💜

I love this song for many reasons. He covers a wide range of things, things that are considered 'dark topics' yet there's also a bit of hope in there. The song name is a good choice as such- A polar night is a dark period of time when the sun doesn't rise for 24 consecutive hours. However, it's not a full black-out like a 'pitch black night'. Both are actual occurring things. So calling it a polar night, is like saying... yeah, all this bad shit, but we're not completely lost/hopeless yet. There are so many reasons to love this song. Thanks for the reaction as always. And thanks for the drop, I knew a nap would have been better so I could wake up super early to this lol. Worth it.💜💜💜💜
