I really like the vibe of all the bsides. I can see why some people would want an extra element to take the production a little higher at some points for sure so it’s a valid opinion, but for me they don’t get boring or fee unfinished as they are. I think they really drive home that feeling of being lulled by something, for better or worse, like the overall theme of temptation. In this case the “tinnitus”, that ringing and whatever it is comprised of for you as an individual that kind of keeps you in a stalled state because it’s constant and overpowering. And the whole idea of just being a rock fits that too in a few different ways, particularly just wanting to erase everything else and just being a rock that doesn’t feel the weight of anything or the constant bother of your tinnitus.
