He is an amazing performer… he has so much stage presence… he reminds me of prince at times and Michael… the looks he gives the dancing and just the working the stage kind of artist …. When prince looks into the camera you get that flirtatious feel from him and that’s what I get from him…. He is a top stage performer ..

Serendipity is one of my faves of Jimin's along with Lie. Jimin is so captivating, you don't want to take your eyes off him when he dances. You're conflicted, it's cute, it's sensual- leaves you totally confused 😂 Sure anyone can dance and sing this perhaps, but Jimin's voice, his emotions, his elegant, fluid moves- fast then slow- is unique to him. He is pretty special. 💜

Yes thank you for mentioning his hip hop background! Many people either dont know or tend to over look that he also started popping very young. He grew up with both dance styles, so most of the time his dancing is just a beautiful mix of both 💜

Jimin's ability to be so perfect with his moves with each performance of "Serendipity" allows for such a perfect edit. He does the same moves in such a precise way that each performance flows together so smoothly.

Funny Shaiyenne (sorry if I spelled it wrong) said it gave her some "Chris Brown -Take You Down" vibes because remember in the 3J Home Party dance performance, Jimin danced on this song along with JK & Hobi, which was a dance cover from Brian Puspos, who actually made the choreography of Serendipity too. Jimin is a fan of rnb, he said Usher and Chris Brown were some of his role models. You guys said he's fluid, and people have said that Jimin's dance style is like water, while J-Hope's like air and JK's like fire. He does have a contemporary background in dancing but people tend to forget he also had a hip hop background because he did popping for about 2 years before he joined a school where he chose contemporary as his major. This is probably why he also has sharp & powerful moves. And imo his martial arts background helped him in having precise dancing lines and such a great body control. His dance style is a mix of influences which is why it's so unique and beautiful. He's a performer and his charisma is something else, he's so mesmerizing to watch, yes he definitely knows what he do. It's crazy how he can pull off different styles too, like Filter is a sexy/seductive song, Serendipity is a sweet/loving song, and Lie is a dark/dramatic song. I just love Serendipity so much, his voice is so soothing. It's part of my favorite album, LY: Her.

I'm with Keith, I was surprised when Lo wasn't feeling Serendipity much because out of everyone when I saw the video drop I was like, oh this is probably up Lo's alley. It was interesting, and now in hindsight, I can understand how coming off the high of Lie may have held that back. Valid. Jerrick and Curt really said two things that sum up how I feel about this song and performance. Being a post-LY ARMY Serendipity was the first LY solo live I stumbled across in my journey, and it utterly captivated me from the jump. "Mesmerizing" was the term Jerrick used for the song, and Curt said, "it feels beautifully married to the choreography". The way Jimin sings this song and dances the choreo makes it seem as if it was all carefully crafted for his voice/emotion and movements. I always come back to either the stage mix of one of the many stages from that tour and watching it high af for the first time was definitely quite an experience. You know it's phenomenal if you're just as stuck on stupid sober or not, lmao. It's fascinating, and always will be no matter how many times I see it. Serendipity is def my favorite solo live stage out of all, and in my top 10 solo songs from all three eras that have them (Wings, LY, MOTS). Stigma holds the top spot for my favorite solo song overall, which some heavy hitters being Seesaw, Love, Just Dance, My Time, Epiphany and Shadow.

Brian Puspos said he choreographed this as if it was for himself, becuz he knew Jimin could pull off the moves. He is also the choreographer for My Time and Butterfly. Also that part with the bubbles, the whole leg flex and thigh grab was all freestyle.
