In my opinion maybe at the time this video was made then yes I would consider BTS as kpop but the current BTS has undoubtedly surpassed that title. In the past they were boxed in this kpop categories to separate them from western artists and now that’s not really the case anymore. I would say they’re not being nominated in major categories in award shows except for the AMA but they’re able to get out of that kpop categories that the west has insisted on categorizing them in so I believe this is just the beginning so now I just see them as artist or Pop group.
