I've listened to singularity far many times for the past 3-4 years and always admired the lyrics of how poetic it is. I've analyzed the lyrics in the BU perspective and Kim Taehyung Idol perspective and others. But never before have I did it in my own perspective and experience until now. After going through some really bad times for a good while now, the lyrics feels like they are translating what I've been feeling and experiencing during that time, when I myself couldn't find such explanation. I think the song just brought new colors into my life again and it's crazy to think a song I've been listening to so long can feel like a new song again.

I think I read somewhere that "Serendipity" is about falling in love, "Euphoria" is about being in love, "Singularity" is about losing yourself in love and finally "Epiphany" is about loving yourself. Before you can truly love someone else, you must love yourself first. And each album has key songs about these themes. My favorite one is Love Yourself: Her. During that era, they released the "Love Yourself Highlight reel". It's basically a short film introducing the Love Yourself series and is also part of the BU. Curt would probably have a lot to say on this one lol. The Love Yourself series is incredibly deep and yes Namjoon is a genius. That was another great discussion guys! 💜

Charlie J Perry wrote the original and RM re-wrote it. As usual RM did a hell of a job. You're right on it being book based. RM tends to pull from a lot of what he reads. And many of us are thankful for that because he truly knows how to capture emotions and things with beautiful and complex words. I can relate to that note of dating a woman who is always texting and calling and just... is obsessed almost. Earlier this year I got into a relationship with a woman(I'm openly Bisexual) who went from nice dates, great conversations to suddenly turning into someone who had to know where I was at all times. I told her I might be having to travel a lot again... now, before we started dating I told her I travel for work... like a lot. She was okay with it, apparently because I wasn't traveling because 3 months ago when I told her I might have to start traveling next year... she freaked. Needless to say, we broke up and I've been enjoying my single life for 3 months now lol. I don't do obsessive; I'm fine asking things like "what are your plans for today?" it's fine to know what I've got planned but I can't be involved with someone who freaks out over traveling for work. I just can't. People claiming Harley and Joker as 'couple goals' always piss me off. I will never understand how people can think they're great relationship role-models. lol. Like screw that, DC relationship role models are Mama and Papa Kent lol. For Marvel the relationship role models are Tony Stark and his alcohol lol. Sorry, nerdy Marvel joke. Thanks for the interesting talk and relationship banter. lol. This whole post is not very informative but eh, lol. Thanks for showing all this love on Tae-day. 💜💜💜
