I think about twice before I watch the reaction....happens that each time I hear "Tonight" I just transform into a whole mess...I just cry and bawl like a crazy , yes...this is a song for his pets that passed away, he had 1 dog who passed away a while ago and also 2 sugar glidders, one of them passed away around 2 years ago ...I am an animal lover so this song hits me in my heart, thank you for the reaction guys :D

Yes it’s about his pets and it’s incredibly sad reading the lyrics 🥺 I recently watched a clip from them saying while filming Mic drop that he kept crying cuz his pet passed away and tried to finish filming as soon as they could cuz Jin was just so sad

It is a short song, and yes, he did write this song for the pets he lost. As you discovered Jin had 3 pets who passed away- Jjangu was his family dog of 12 years from 2005-2017. When BTS moved to their second dorm, Jin got 2 Sugar Gliders and named them Odeng and Eomuk as gifts from his parents. Eomuk passed away, If I remember correctly, he was sick, Sugar Gliders do not do well on their own, so Jin got another Sugar Glider named Gukmul to accompany Odeng. In 2019, as you read- Odeng passed away from a height accident. Sugar gliders are adorable but they are prone to accidents. Gukmul is still alive and well but Jin lost faith in his ability to care for him so his mother got Gukmul a companion and she takes care of them. I think my favorite Jin song is Moon. But I honestly just love all his songs. Abyss is really good too. Thanks for this 💜

I agree with you on a pet passing away. I have two cats now who are like my children lol even though they get into everything love them LOL. Animals mean a lot to me. Lost a pet before, and had people laugh because I cried about. I just hate that feeling. I may sound weird but my pets were all I had when I had nothing/no one so yea.
