I totally agree with you about how these parents get so involved in what they feel their kids should or need to do as far as in getting into music or even sports. But I found it so interesting how Jung Kook's parents didn't seem be involved at all I mean he was only 14 or 15 when he started living with the rest of the guys and other trainees. I don't know if that was a good thing or not. I know Jin would take him to school and make him his lunch and Yoongi would pick him up. So he basically was raised by his hyungs. Its amazing to see a group of boys who take so much care of each other compared to here in the states where there are groups who instead of looking out for each other they try to be better than everyone else just so they can go solo.

Dont know why nobody ever ask for this but there is a introduction video for their discography that i think is so well done. Get in bts discography can be overwgelming and i think that one explains well their eras and concepts without being iverwhelmed. Hope you cam react to it. Is called " crash course bts"

I really enjoy the series so much. It shows how much work and dedication these kpop idols put in what the do. I have an immense respect for BTS and all the other artists because they really do their best. These guys are really an example of great team work. Theirs passion always shows in everything they do. Ps. You guys are so good and love how so sing along to the songs even if it's the korean lyrics Purple you guys.

Agree with the recommendation to watch the Ida S video. It’s so great that Jimin is less hard on himself these days. I also saw an interesting vlog with Jimin talking about how he learnt about happiness and enjoying the moment from Jin - I enjoy seeing how all the members support and positively influence each other.

I saw someone recommended an intro to the members video, but honestly, that one's really dated. I think the other two out there are better. The members have grown so much since then, their core and essence hasn't changed, but their character has grown and developed for the better. Especially Jimin, he's been telling us for the past couple of years that he's not so hard on himself anymore. From what I understand, in the kpop industry it's standard practice to recoup all that money that was invented into the artist, but BigHit is known to be different in this, artists aren't made to pay back for training, room/board, expenses etc

Your faces guys when the Jk's prank comes up LOL....even some people in the fandom feel it was a little cruel but that's the way they fool around and like to bikering each other all the time...not everybody can stand this type of "humor" but they know each other so well that they don't feel ackward or bad about it, they know their limits...and yes, you can see the change on the guys from the rookies to the superstars they are now.

Oooh, y'all touched on the issue of the investment of artist development. I've actually been worried about whether BTS members are finally being compensated on par with their success. Because I've heard mention in others documentary vids that these artists' initial revenue is actually taxed to first payback the label. And I think they also put these kids' parents under lien (especially those artists that are underaged) to pay back the costs of development if the venture doesn't pan out. That's got to be a massive amount of pressure. I bet it's nothing as "easy" as just defaulting on a student loan...

Hi Guys. One of the BTS guides talks about how Jimin is a perfectionist and has gotten better with his body image over the years. I believe all of BTS are like that with always saying "we will work harder." They made that statement after they didn't get the Grammy. And ARMY knows they work hard!

This series is goated fr, the creator Anessa and her team put their feet in this and I am still in awe every time I watch it. Really enjoy listening to your guys' long discussions on how absorbing this content of a different culture relates to your own experiences, and provides perspective.
