I mean fuck, I went to law school but have forgotten most of what I learned. Having said that if he has a history of wearing other stuff and Supreme were OK with it and didn’t reprimand him, or worse for them allowed it, they’ll probably have to pay up (not the whole amount but a decent wedge). You can’t fall back on a clause in a contract you don’t enforce and if fact allow repetitive behaviour that goes against it. More than likely you invalidate that clause.

From an entertainment perspective, I enjoyed the first video more. This is deeper investigative skate journalism which is interesting but not as fun to watch (speaking only for myself). Depends what you’re going for tho.

12:00 - you're allowed to contradict yourself in a Complaint, called "pleading in the alternative", basically allows you do advance multiple theories at the same time. 24:10 - there are different kinds of defamation under state law, one of which is called "defamation per se" where you do not have to show actual damages because the defamation was (allegedly) sooo bad. Here, he is just lining up the elements of defamation per se using legal boilerplate, this isn't an actual conceptual argument. He's just checking a box needed to bring that variety of claim. The vast majority of civil suits settle before trial (like 95% or more), this one will for sure, but maybe we'll get a saucy Answer from Supreme--I think they get 30 days to respond.

I think this is just the third thing I’ve done on it for stream/ patreon. A lot of people have been messaging me about it I think there’s a lot of general interest, this is a pretty huge story

Anyone else already bored of this “story”? Until Supreme responds or we get some actual of the record or on the record opinions from people in the supreme universe the speculation as a non patreon YouTube video feels weak. Thanks for making it though Joa!
