Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.. I know you probably have festive, lazy, busy or whatever kind of things to do today so I’ll make this brief..
I want to start by saying the last sentence was a complete utter lie. This won’t be brief 💀 I had to let some thoughts fly up here as we wind this year down.. & it has certain been one of the years of all time on our Patreon page to say the least..
In case something horrible happens to me before I finish typing this, I’ll type the most important thing first. I love you all and don’t deserve any of you whatsoever. To whoever is here and decided to support what I do with your generosity and kindness, you are truly incredible. And I have GREATLY underserved you this year. Each day that I don’t post content for you to enjoy up here is a failure in my book.. it truly is. And anytime a new month comes where I see someone is still aboard this ship wanting to support and enjoy content, it makes me realize they deserve so much more. YOU DESERVE MORE. I wanted this year to be the best yet, but it turned out being a slow year for us. Despite my self critique here about my shortcomings delivering content, I just want you to know i am insanely, madly grateful for you.
Now for the excuses… lol ..2024 was the most challenging year of my life as a content creator. For those unaware, in December 2023 I became a father!! And I thought reading subtitles was hard… jeez, was I wrong. Being a father, a STAY AT HOME father at that has been insanely challenging! We just bought a new house to get out of a rough neighborhood we were living in before so that made things crazy too.. and then on top of that I just have so many endeavors I’ve began in my career. Making music, running multiple YouTube channels, Twitch streams & more.. MOST things had to be put on hold this year, but not by choice per say. It was just hard as hell to keep up the ENERGY to make content a lot of days because of the crying, monitoring, constant feeding times ..you name it, having a baby (at least mine) has been UTTER CHAOS. Of course, it has the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. So there is 2 sides to this coin. Fun fact, I have the time to type all this out because baby is out of the house with his mom right now 😂
I hate kind of going on and on about personal life stuff online, but with you guys I feel the most comfortable. These type of posts seem very self centered to me, but I also think it’s important to share with you where I’m at mentally. I’m going to call this past year of 2024, my adjustment year… and leave it as that. Adjustment to being a home owner & father.. but now I know what the game is like & how to play it to my advantage. 2024 was preseason and 2025 the regular season will begin. They say smart people learn from their mistakes…& well I’m not smart, but I’m still going to learn from my mistakes 😂
Last, but not least.. here’s a dark secret I’ve never mentioned to anyone about this Patreon. Every 1st of the month is when the most people end their membership because their $2, $5 or $10 bill hits. I’m always terrified to look at the results everyone especially this past year because essentially I under performed every month.. but I’m always SHOCKED at how many people decide to stay. And thus this is why i say I DONT DESERVE YOU. But since you’re here, I need to do better & deliver the best content I can. Even though it’s 99% reaction videos here which some consider to be “low effort content”, I promise you I always give my all every second of those videos. Point is, the 1st of the month always proves me to how damn lucky I am to have you all in my corner ..and it makes me realize how much more you deserve.
I say all this to ultimately tell you this.. I’m raising base price to $14/month. Just kidding. But god damn I’d be rich if I did that… well probably not because people would leave immediately 😂 —In all serious, the big takeaway here is I’m sorry for not posting as much as I wanted to AND as much I said I would. You deserve more and will get more in 2025. Becoming a father/home owner is my sad excuse for the lack of content, but I’m ready to overcome that obstacle since I know how to approach things. Last, but not least I love all of you and am extremely lucky to have you here. I don’t and won’t take that for granted.. every single one of you matters. I hate hate HATE disappointing you and I’ll keep striving to make sure it won’t happen anymore.

Merry Christmas Joey, and thank you for keeping us posted. I won't lie 2024 hasn't been easy for me as well, but your reactions always make it a bit better. Hopefully next year will be even better, life-wise and reaction-wise. Can't wait to see what comes next. Also My Hero Academia is getting a prequel anime named Vigilantes in April, which is really good. Hope you react to it!

It was definitely a busy year for you and understandable that content and things took a back seat while you adjusted to being a dad/homeowner. Father of a 3 year old, single father at that. I totally understand the exhaustion that quickly builds up from having a kid. You are doing your best and ultimately your kid should be your priority. I WILL always appreciate the content you do put out when you can. I hope you and the family had a good holidays and cheers to 2025 being the year we all figure it out just a little bit more.

Joey being a father might be one of the best "excuses" anyone can have for anything in life lmao so it's not like you were just being lazy. I'm just glad to know (exactly) what the problem was for you. I'll be here until the day you stop posting for good and I'm sure many others agree with me that you are a real one which is why a lot of us have stayed. All I want for 2025 from you is more transparent communication like this and hopefully a weekly schedule LOL Otherwise stay goated and merry christmas!
