Strix is pronounced as is; it only sounds different in the show since Japanese pronunciation is based on syllabicating sounds, and it so happens that the language does not have "S-", it'll always be "Shi". So for the Japanese, they pronounced foreign words like Strix like "Shittorikkusu"

I think they were showing that Yor is physically stronger than Twilight and a better fighter, but Twilight as a spy has to have more skills than just killing and fighting. He's definitely smarter than her for sure xD
