Little detail not many people notice. People often say that Mikasa went overboard, mutilating these already dead Jaegerists and showering in blood, but the reason she did that is precisely because she cares, not because shes cruel. Right after the blood shower she looks at a group of Jaegerists and strikes fear into them making them flee. She went overboard to rout her old friends so she doesnt have to kill them all.

This is probably the most unrealistic episode from entire anime. Everyone got plot armor just to keep them alive ... Not even mentioning that they had like 100 or more soldiers there so hitting ship with at least few thunder spears should be a childs play for them.
