Love all the content btw also aware this is an old ass episode but if you do see this Joey that conversation that we will not name and will not get into that’s paralleled in this show is obviously a lot more complex than “well we didn’t do any of the bad thing our ancestors did” when institutions that’s said ancestors built are still around and oppressing others. They idea that one race should be punished for their ancestors crimes is a narrative to push an agenda. A strawman. Gabi is in the wrong here. She is particularly saying that all eldians in Paradis should die although they did nothing wrong and nearly all of them can’t turn into a titan without some spinal fluid. Even if they did they would be mindless titans. You see? Marley attacked Paradis because they wanted to take the founder from the king and control all titans which means they would control the world with their power. Gabi is saying that eldians oppressed many nations with the titan powers but isn’t Marley doing the same? There is a flaw in her logic but she was taught that way. Later we see her developing her mind and looking at the bigger picture.
