--For the record, Oda names many Zoans as "Class-Class: Model Species" but the class is purely descriptive. For example, Lassoo had the Dog-Dog: Model Dachshund, while Chaka had the Dog-Dog: Model Jackal. Those are separate fruits and their names are related like a formality. Neither can turn into any other dogs. The reason being that Oda chose to have all Devil Fruit names in Japanese have 2 syllables (and repeated, Gomu-Gomu/Neko-Neko/Hana-Hana/Inu-Inu/Mera-Mera), but Zoans are assigned into simple classes like ox, bird, dog, cat when the actual species name would not fit and/or their species include many similar breeds. Plenty of Zoans aren't part of a class or aren't yet (e.g. Mole-Mole). There's only 2 exceptions I know of to the Japanese syllable thing after all these years. And in English, we casually shorten (i.e. Leopard-Leopard) to save time instead of always the official "Cat-Cat: Model Leopard."
