Little but yet very important side notes from this fight: 1) When Zoro‘s teacher (Koushirou) teached Zoro about „cutting nothing“, Zoro said „my WILL is flowing into the blade“ and then proceeds to literally not cutting the leaves and then cutting the stone. In this very moment he chose what to protect and what to cut. This is a huge aspect in swordsmanship and a big step into Zoro‘s mastery of swordsmanship. It becomes relevant later (not only for Zoro😉) 2) 2nd major and most important point about this fight was Zoro dodging the stones bc he sensed/felt the RYTHM of the stones. Oda already planted the seeds this far back in the story for a power, that is based on this exact concept, so very important. Hope this doesn’t spoil anything 🙏
