And from an article that specializes in theater stages "Theater in the round—also called an arena stage, central stage, or island stage—is a type of stage that's surrounded by audience members on all sides. Typically, the stage is on the ground level, or lower, and uses stadium seating." It's a new style of stage that is becoming more popular...............don't block me 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

i feel you, but E-Man KNOWS what he meant when he said "lights" not "lighting" also, here is the definition of stage from google. "a raised floor or platform, typically in a theater, on which actors, entertainers, or speakers perform"."

Also, Jody, I am going to have to argue your definition of a "stage" and "lighting". From an architectural standpoint (just to play the devil's advocate lol). If you think of lecture halls or even back to ancient Greece, not all stages were/are elevated. And all lighting is not artificial lighting. If you look at that specific image you paused on, there was what seemed to be a skylight that almost waterfalls onto the wall below it that brought in a sense of "natural lighting" (as we know that they didn't shoot this video actually outside).
