Tier Pricing Changes

This is the the most difficult post I've had to make to date, and I seriously hope that I won't have to do another one like it ever again. But if there is one thing that is certain, is that life is uncertain. Regardless, I appreciate you all for being here, whether from the start of this Patreon journey two years ago or more recently. Through all the uncertainty of being a self-employed artist, you are the certainty that keeps me grounded, and gives me the motivation to continue on this path.
Here is a snapshot of the new tier prices and rewards:
As much as I love a good chart, it can't necessarily show the entire picture after all...so here's some more details.
Monochrome Mates tier will be deprecated (hidden from public).
This means that no NEW members will be able to sign up at this tier, but those currently on this tier will be able to maintain their pledge and Discord access. Essentially you will be getting the new DuochroMates rewards at the original £1 price.RGB Buddies will increase to £6 and get new digital goods.
Between you and me, I've technically been giving a bunch of goodies that I had originally marked down for a higher tier to you already, so this is just consolidating this. Essentially this becomes the new Digital Rewards tier.CMYK Chums will increase to £10 and get a new physical goodie.
With all the digital rewards being absorbed into the lower tier, it seemed only right to have something else for this tier, and an individual sticker in the mail seemed like the right choice. So please make sure to add your mailing address to get your goodie! (Instructions here)Prism Pals will increase to £15.
Spectral Stars will increase to £30.
I know this is a significant increase, for which I really do apologize. However, I also have been doing some more complex handmade goodies that will hopefully make up for it.
Why?
The price increase i mainly driven by the fact that postage has gone way up recently. I've kind of eating the cost for the past few months because I didn't want to have to make these changes, but it really is just not sustainable, I'm afraid. (For total transparency, postage in the UK for international stamps went up from £1.85 to £2.50 back in April 😱). Aside from that though, cost of living and all that jazz... I do hope that you understand and I am sorry once again.
What happens now?
These changes will not happen immediately so don't panic!
Firstly, I will be making the changes on 10th August. After this, you will have a 31-day notification AND price-lock period, meaning that you can change your membership to any other tier at the original price.
You will receive an email from Patreon that will let you know about these changes in more detail more related to your membership, particularly if you are monthly vs. annual, so please make sure to read your email carefully. The last thing I would want is for you to be caught out by the changes!
