Riley's Commie Book Club: Mark Fisher
🕑 Added 2019-03-21 17:31:44 +0000 UTCItโs that time again: Riley sat down with a book, and now you have to hear him talk about it for an hour or so. This month, Riley read K-Punk, out now on Repeater Books. K-Punk collects the previously unpublished writing of British left cultural, political, and social critic Mark Fisher, who explored realism and imagination, future and memory, and the freedom to imagine better worlds.

It doesn't end abruptly! I've just listened again and found the 'I'm going to dinner' part. Well ... I absolutely love this. Thank you ๐X๐ฑ๐

Got sent it by the publisher! Going to read it soon

Also, if you're taking "Commie Book Club" requests, will you tackle Zuboff's "Surveillance Capitalism?" Seems like Byung-Chul Han for a broad readership.... It's hung on to #2 in Amazon's bizarre category of "Free Enterprise (Books)" since its release in January
